Individuality.

These days most people are other people.
Only a few templates are distributed amongst the billions.
Maybe it’s because they see themselves as less than equals.
So they base and paste their thoughts from someone else’s opinions.

Their unfulfilled lives a mimicry.
Obtaining incompatible abilities.
Altering their figures physically.

Their passions are quotations.
Their theories are past equations.
They become victims of affiliations.

Remoulding their models into the shape of their role models.
Worshipping the words of Drake, Einstein, Rhianna and Aristotle.
Pursuing the idolised physique of a manufactured Coca Cola bottle.

They squeeze themselves into already overcrowded groups.
But you can only have so many cards in one particular suit.
To every leader there will always be surplus of recruits.

This process progresses day by day.

To the point where he and she have become they

“Mummy, when I grow up I want to be just like them”

Is what they all will say.

Something I wrote today and I kind of rushed it but only because I know I will not get anytime to finish it this week lol This was inspired by twitter and the many generic profiles I see including my own I actually sort of remixed it from an Oscar Wilde quote I read and it got me thinking as usual lol I just wanted to explore the subject and put my spin on it I hope it works and makes sense lol :and I hope you guys like it :)

Beautiful, and very poignant. Putting Rhianna and Drake along with Einstein and Aristotle was an interesting choice.

that is beautiful, and I find myself actually looking at the world differently because of this.
I always did see the world as one big blurr of similarities and I agree with you here,
"Only a few templates are distributed amongst the billions."
If only people saw that they didn't have to be like everyone else to be special.

beautiful. I think I've read that Wilde quote cause this sounded familiar. :) Well done really my friend. I have had troubles finding friends in the past mostly cause I don't fit in a mold like most people do. I needed a unique group of people that would enjoy and accept my inability to fit in a category. :) I found them but it took some time. Even though it was tough, I'm happy I'm truly myself and not some copy of another person. :)
