Good Bye

Good byes.

Something so simple and consistent. Something we have all experienced time and time again. It combines the long awkward moment with a short and swift exit. Signifying an end to what once was. An end of an era. A fulfilling moment that always had an end. The conclusion was always present, always there. But sometimes we choose not to focus on it. It almost makes the certainty uncertain for a period of time. But we all know its coming. Sometimes we focus on it to heavily and it ruins the remaining time you have. What I'm trying to say is there is no set way to deal with it. Its something you have to get used to. There are no sedatives to numb the pain or refill the exposed void. Effort is short lived. Things will never be the same. But the time spent will always have a receipt. A blank none existent piece of paper. Imprinted in to your brain. Converted in to the form of colourful images and videos. These memories will always remain on your saved data. It's the only way we know those times actually happened. Good byes are depressing situations. But the time before and leading up to that outcome are priceless. An invaluable phenomenon that we should all appreciate.
